2nd History of Economics Summer School in Latin America (HESSLA)

State and Capitalism in the History of Economics

O Cedeplar/UFMG em parceria com o Departamento de Economia da UFOP, receberá este ano a 2nd History of Economics Summer School in Latin America (HESSLA) da Associação Latino-Americana de História do Pensamento Econômico (ALAHPE). O evento cujo tema será  “State and Capitalism in the History of Economics”, terá lugar entre os dias 7 e 10 de fevereiro no Salão Nobre da Escola de Minas da UFOP, no centro de Ouro Preto. O evento reunirá pesquisadore[a]s jovens e experientes que trabalham nas áreas de história do pensamento econômico e metodologia da economia para uma semana de intensa e rica interação acadêmica. Um time de importantes especialistas internacionais na área estará a cargo das palestras principais, são eles: Keith Tribe, Verónica Montecinos, Jimena Hurtado, Harald Hagemann, Mauro Boianovsky, Roberto Luís de Melo Monte-Mór, Andrés Álvarez, Pedro Garcia Duarte e Ramón García Fernández. Além das palestras, a escola de verão também contará com sessões dedicadas à apresentação de pesquisas em andamento de 12 estudantes avançado[a]s de pós-graduação e acadêmico[a]s em início de carreira, com espaço para discussões longas e detalhadas. Com a organização a cargo de Alexandre Mendes Cunha e Carlos Eduardo Suprinyak do Cedeplar/UFMG, contando com a colaboração de Daniel do Val Cosentino da UFOP, e Jimena Hurtado e Andrés Álvarez da Universidade de Los Andes (Colômbia), o evento recebeu o apoio e financiamento das seguintes instituições: History of Economics Society (HES), Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), CNPq, CAPES e FAPEMIG.
