Reinstalled n7ve8s8dus after six months away and the core experience has improved noticeably. Embedded links in content open the in-app browser by default with no option to change it. The commute test is the one that keeps me loyal.

After uninstalling three alternatives, n7ve8s8dus is the one I actually kept past the first day. Reinstalling clears all my settings — the backup doesn't seem to cover user preferences. I still open it before I open the competitors.

Running n7ve8s8dus on a refurbished mid-range phone and the performance is acceptable for daily use. The app requests calendar permission on setup but no calendar feature is accessible anywhere. My workflow depends on it now, which is a vote of confidence in itself.
